LOL
Sometimes I feel like motherfuckers don’t understand how hard it is to do shit. Though this may come off as a little arrogant, what’s with people hella sleeping on my moves, hella sleeping on my style? I do shit that most people aren’t able to do. I’ve mastered hella moves, I put my blood sweat and tears into everything. Yet, this stupid fucking SoCal scene only looks at you for how many airchairs you can do on one arm in a fully loaded elbow pad or how much “beatriding” you can bullshit your way through. That’s not to say there aren’t some unique ass people that utilize these types of things to their fullest; a good example I can give is Nick Abat (hope you read this).
But in general, I just feel hella undermined by every jam I go to. Ground power in particular, is a lost artform that is very watered down in this SoCal scene. Nigga someone is throwing tombstones at you for christ sake, does that amount to NO sort of reaction whatsoever?
Ok, I’m done with my rant. Fuck all of you that don’t appreciate the hard work it takes for people to make challenging moves look simple. Ima just keep doing me, and my day will come.
